Mark has been a photographer since being introduced to the medium at high school during art classes.
He went on to study photography at Bournville School of Art for two years – learning the fundamentals of lighting, cameras & dark room skills.
Following on from art school, he successfully undertook a B.A. (Hons) degree in Photography at the University of the Arts London.
At this time he joined the Association of Photographers as a freelance photography assistant, working with various commercial & editorial photographers.
This provided invaluable experience in the real world of professional photography – working on projects for a wide range of clients such as French Vogue, She magazine, House Beautiful, Homes & Gardens magazine, Maltese Tourist Board, Oxford University Press & Dorling Kindersley publishing houses.
After graduating, he began his career as a professional editorial & commercial photographer. Working mainly in the print publication & charity sector.
The first wedding that Mark photographed was shot on 35mm film, as digital photography was not really a thing then…
Fast forward to the current day, Corsage Reportage now shoot all weddings on professional full frame digital cameras and offer a wide range of digital & print options to the couples that we work with.
Mark continues to work in the editorial / commercial photography & visual communication world alongside shooting weddings.
He is apparently ‘quite chatty’. Or as he prefers, ‘a people person’.
Rachel is a multi-disciplined creative professional.
She was introduced to photography at a community project in Sheffield and with support from her tutor Barbara Wasiak, had her first photographic exhibition as part of ‘Signals’, a national festival of women photographers.
Around the same time Rachel also explored cinematography and storytelling through video as part of a Sheffield Independent Film & Television programme.
She subsequently utilised her photographic skills whilst gaining a degree in Metalwork & Jewellery, using the medium to explore and document her creative process & development.
Rachel’s photography explores both composition & detail and lends itself perfectly to documenting your wedding day.
Let's start a conversation.
